Life Is A Product of Our Thoughts

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” Proverbs 4:22 NIV.

Psychologists say that over 90% of our thoughts each day are the same ones we had yesterday, the day before that, and the same thoughts we’ve had every day for years.

Our present life is a product of our thoughts. We’ve created our own realities, though we blame our parents, our spouses, our churches, our government, and even God if we don’t like our circumstances. We’re the product of our own thinking.

Thoughts become attitudes. Attitudes become habits. Habits determine character. Character becomes our destiny. How many times in a day do we say to ourselves, “I can’t do that!” or “I’m just no good” or myriad other negative messages that keep us from a better life for ourselves and our loved ones?

We create our lives with our habitual thoughts, intentions, and words. Where we are right now is never good enough. We feel stuck, unhappy, anxious, fearful, and filled with regrets. The only way to experience something different is to change our habitual resistance to a better life by the way we think, the way we choose to be present to ourselves, to God, and to others moment by moment through the thoughts we allow to flow through us.
