“As a person thinks, so they are” Proverbs 23:7 NIV.
Where does motivation come from and how do you get more of it? Motivation is made up of the reasons you do what you do, or don’t do what you don’t do.
We’re often frustrated because we can’t seem to find the motivation we need to lose weight, eat healthier, or find a better job or relationship.
Motivation is fueled by desire. Each day we do what we really want to do the most. Motivation isn’t an elusive force hiding around the corner, but a result of decisions we’ve committed to in our minds and hearts. What we do every day is the outward manifestation of the condition of our hearts.
Saying you want to lose weight might not be the whole truth. OR Saying you want a better job may not spur you into searching online for a higher paying position. Our words rarely tell the whole story, but our daily actions reveal the truth of our inward decisions every time.
